Doris Day and Rock Hudson

Hey guys.this post is dedicated to the most precious frienship and how i learnt about it. Yes, i'm talking about Doris Day and Rock Hudson. A friendship that lasted more than 20 years. 

The first movie i watched with Doris and Rock was ''Pillow Talk". I was suspicious at first, because i didn't like old movies and i just watched it to make my mother a favor. 

When the movie started i was like "okay, i can watch it. its funny. She's alright, i guess and then i saw Rock Hudson and i was like OMG!! so handsome. As, i was watching the movie i knew that i'm going to love these people for a long time. Actually, when i'm watching something i can feel it. I have a feeling inside that this is something special. 

Rock's character is so funny and charming that i couldn't help but falling in love with him. The storyline is so funny and the chemistry between the characters is unbelievable. 

It was the first time i was seeing them and i had no idea that they became so close friends after the movie. I was so happy when i start searching on google and i saw so many pictures and even videos. 

 I adore that in this cruel world of Hollywood they manage to have a friendship that lasts more than 20 years. A friendship like that its really rare and special. When i found that his last public appearance was with Doris on her new show, i got so emotional. 

As i read Doris had no idea that Rock was so sick with AIDS and he asked him to be her first quest on her new show, and he said yes. I got so emotional when i saw the episode on youtube. It was so obvious that he wasn't feel well, but he still made his best for his best friend.

When she saw him, she immediately understood that something was wrong with him. He just said that he had the flue... 

He didnt want to talk with anyone about his illness. Doris didnt want him to go after filming the episode. She actually asked her son's help to make him stay more in their house and rest. But he really had to leave and go for treatment in Paris... 2 months later he died... I was so sad when i read all these infos and i had only watched onemovie. My first thought was to watch more movies with them.I was so happy to find out that i had two more classic movies to watch.....
